Curing Blankets!
Cold weather curing of concrete is best done with Concrete Curing Blankets. The Curing Blankets will enable your contractor to keep working when the cold temperatures set in and protect their concrete from the "winter" elements that can harm the proper curing.
Reinforced Polyfilm!
Light weight, heavy-duty reinforced polyfilm enhances tear-resistance and increases service life. Used for Construction Enclosures, Vapor Retarders, Temperary Walls, and much more.
Calcium Chloride!
Icemelt: Available in FLAKE or PELLETS, calcium chloride outperforms other deicing products, especially at lower temperatures. It provides a reaction that gives off heat as it melts. It will continue to melt ice at temperatures of -25 degrees F versus rock salt which will stop at temperatures around 20 degrees F.
Concrete Accelerator: It is the most widely used additive for accelerators of concrete. While it does not attack the concrete, it speeds up setting times and increases proper curing results.
Accelerators!
FreezBan: Available in liquid or beads, ChemMaster's FreezBan is a multipurpose admixture for use with portland cement/lime mortar and prepared masonry mortars and non-reinforced concrete. This exclusive rust retarding formulation combines an effective and time proven chemical accelerator, calcium chloride, with a powerful wetting agent.
FreezBan NC: A set accelerating/water reducing liquid admixture for concrete and mortar and is formulated without calcium chloride or chloride ions. It does not promote corrosion and may be used in areas having contact with reinforcing steel, door and window jambs or other metallic building materials. FreezBan NC improves the workability and finishing characteristics of concrete and mortar placed in cold weather.
